Children are worthy of our support and deepest affection. Children have many problems that they need to solve and they need help to do that. The advent of modern technology makes relationship between children and parents become more challenging. Family is the smallest social organization and it should be the repository of good things for all family members. The family should be the place where children can find security and comfort. Children will feel comfortable if they find a lot of friendly smiles in their home. Blood is thicker than water and you should implement that principle at home. The world is getting more challenging for children and it is the job of parents to make sure that children can feel a lot safer.

Although there are no more barbarian hordes roaming on the plains, the world is still quite dangerous. There are many things that can descend upon children and harm them. Against the backdrop of chaos and unmitigated violence, family is the bastion of safety and growth that children can rely on. Parents should make sure that the family offers loyalty, honor and respect for everyone. Parents should provide protection and immunity. It is quite unfortunate that the society at large is at odds with the traditional values. It is a good idea for parents to apply proven traditional ways that can provide stability and safety for family members. It is true that the family needs to embrace modern life, but it doesn’t mean that they should abandon traditional values.

In this situation, you should re-examine family values and processes. We should have conscious realization on what we are doing. It is not a good thing to implement trends, if they are not really compatible with our original family values. Again, parents should make sure that the family is a repository of good virtues. Traditional ways often ensure that the family still functions as family. This will also ensure constant connection between parents and teachers. As an example, regular dinner sessions are traditional activities that our ancestors had done for hundreds of years. It is a good thing if parents try to make the dinner time a wonderful thing to have. Children will eagerly expect to enjoy dinner. Traditional processes could touch the life of children in many ways.

Parents and children may also have shared fantasy that can lead to happiness. Traditional activities could help to make parents and children to enjoy their time together, regardless of the age differences. Traditional ways could be seen as implementation of authoritative power of parents; however, parents can still be flexible and avoid making children to feel pressured. Traditional ways should be seen as an opportunity to promote sharing and openness. This will allow us to mix childhood and adult emotions. The external world could give children terrors and pains, so parents should try to negate that. During the weekends, it should be an opportunity for children to feel re-energized. So, parents need to prepare fun activities based on various traditional values.
